Félix Junior Lainez Trejos was bitten on the leg while surfing at Punta Barandúa, Santa Elena, Ecuador

Félix Junior Lainez Trejos, 23, was bitten by what is presumed to be a shark on the lower left leg while surfing at Punta Barandúa, Santa Elena, Ecuador. The incident happened on 24 December 2011.

He was taken to the hospital Rafael Serrano for medical treatment.

No other details were reported.
